Terms of Use

Effective date: July 23, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 23, 2026

If this is an emergency, stop reading and call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. This website is not monitored for emergencies and is never an appropriate way to seek urgent care.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Finding Her MD website. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. This website does not provide medical advice

All content on this site, including descriptions of services, conditions, medications, and treatment approaches, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional who knows your history.

Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read on this website. Individual results vary. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise, guarantee, or prediction of any particular clinical outcome.

3. Using this site does not create a physician-patient relationship

Browsing this site, submitting the discovery call request form, or exchanging preliminary messages with us does not create a physician-patient relationship. A physician-patient relationship with Dr. Maclain Magee or Finding Her MD is established only after you complete an initial consultation, we accept you as a patient, and you have signed the applicable practice agreements and consents.

4. Emergencies

This website, the request form, and any email or messaging associated with the practice are not monitored continuously and are not appropriate for urgent or emergency medical needs.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are in a mental health crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. If you are experiencing symptoms of alcohol or drug withdrawal, which can be medically dangerous, seek immediate in-person medical care.

5. Scope of the practice

Finding Her MD is a specialty concierge wellness practice. It complements, and does not replace, your primary care physician or gynecologist. We encourage every patient to maintain an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider for preventive care, routine screenings, and management of chronic conditions.

Some conditions are outside the scope of what we can appropriately manage, including those requiring emergency care, inpatient care, medically supervised withdrawal, or specialty care we do not provide. Where that is the case, we will tell you directly and help you find appropriate care.

Acute and episodic illness

We are not an urgent care practice and we do not manage acute episodic illness. Sore throats, ear infections, coughs, rashes, injuries, fevers, and similar complaints require an in-person examination and, in many cases, point-of-care testing that a video visit cannot provide. We will not diagnose or prescribe for these conditions remotely.

If you raise an acute concern during a visit or by message, we will tell you plainly that it falls outside our scope, direct you to an appropriate urgent care, laboratory, or primary care option, and, with your authorisation, share relevant history so you do not have to start over. Helping you get to the right care quickly is part of membership. Providing that care ourselves is not.

Who we treat

The physician-patient relationship exists only between Dr. Magee and the individual patient who has completed an initial consultation and been accepted into the practice. Membership covers that person alone.

We are not able to evaluate, diagnose, prescribe for, or advise on the care of your spouse or partner, your children, your parents, or any other person, whether formally or informally, and whether or not a fee has been paid. This applies regardless of Dr. Magee's prior training and board certification in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. We do not treat minors.

6. Eligibility and geography

Services are offered to adults 18 years of age and older. Telehealth and in-home concierge services are available only where Dr. Magee holds an active, unrestricted medical license and where applicable law permits the service to be delivered. Availability may change.

7. Pricing and payment

Prices shown on this site are current as of the last update and are subject to change. We publish our pricing because we believe you should know what care costs before you commit to it, but published pricing is not a binding quote for any individual course of treatment. Your specific plan and cost will be confirmed with you directly.

Finding Her MD is a direct-pay practice. We do not bill insurance. Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account funds may be usable for many eligible medical services, but eligibility depends on your plan and is determined by your plan administrator, not by us. We make no representation that any particular service will be reimbursable or eligible under your plan.

Medication costs shown on this site are estimates provided by our partner pharmacy and are not set or controlled by Finding Her MD. Actual medication costs may differ and can change without notice.

8. Medications and treatment

Prescription medications, including GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, are prescribed only when clinically appropriate, following a physician consultation and evaluation. No medication is guaranteed to any prospective or current patient, and submitting a request through this site does not entitle you to a prescription.

Botox® is a registered trademark of Allergan, Inc. Finding Her MD is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Allergan, Inc. Aesthetic treatments are performed only after an individualized assessment.

9. Communications and consent to contact

When you submit the request form, you consent to us contacting you at the email address and, if provided, the phone number you supply, for the purpose of responding to your request and scheduling a discovery call. You may withdraw this consent at any time by telling us to stop.

Standard message and data rates may apply to any text messages. Email and standard SMS are not encrypted end to end, and you should not send detailed medical information through them. Please see our Privacy Policy for more.

10. Acceptable use

13. Disclaimer of warranties

This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finding Her MD disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finding Her MD, Dr. Maclain Magee, and any of their affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, this website.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for professional negligence in the course of an established physician-patient relationship. This section concerns the website, not the standard of care owed to established patients.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Finding Her MD and Dr. Maclain Magee from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of this website or your breach of these Terms of Use.

16. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

17. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Revisions take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Your continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
